Kandon Unlimited
My first internship began with Natural Kidz, in August of 2012. For the most part I created designs for the company’s owner, Kathryn Cloward, to use on CafePress. These designs were applied to shirts, water bottles, and various items available on the site. After six months I began doing freelance work for Natural Kidz and the newly formed Kandon Unlimited. Along with work similar to that done with Natural Kidz, I do book design for their publishing branch of the company. Kandon Unlimited was started after Natural Kidz was sold. For the logo she wanted a ‘K’ mimicing a person with their arms outspread and with a heart in the center. This was my first book design for Kandon Publishing. I came in late in the project and the author had specific ideas on how she wanted the cover to look.
